Videographic Evidence of A Radical New Shipping Container Shop On Lake Raleigh
This is going to be a short blog post because today is my Saturday, and I'm heading to Falls Lake for a quick solo bikepacking trip. Sometimes, you just need that escape.
In the meantime, please enjoy the video below, produced by the talented Jason Hampden. Jason owns Crafted Film Co, a small business that focused on filmmaking for active and outdoor brands.
Earlier this year, he approached me about a collaboration. Having been a videographer myself, I was hesitant to trust someone else with the vision. However, with a lot on my plate, I decided to let Jason take the reins on the creative representation of The Bike Library.
Let me tell you, he knocked it out of the park.
Jason's dedication to perfection is unmatched. He filmed at the shipping container morning, afternoon, and evening over several weeks, enduring the hot and humid conditions with his heavy camera and gear. Watching him work was admirable, and being a part of it was both an honor and a bit humbling. It was also a little scary to see my "baby" (the shop) laid bare in front of the lens.
The other day, Jason sent me a YouTube link. I watched the first 10 seconds, then immediately closed it. I sprinted home to watch it alone in the quiet. I was blown away. That's all I can say.
Without further ado, please enjoy the video. Toss it a "like," subscribe to Jason's channel, and follow him on Instagram. The guy is brilliant. I can't wait for our next project together.
